Camera Items!!

New section in my todayisahappyday blogshop:
Since I’m such a fan of photography, I would to start bringing in some camera items for all of u. Things that I myself am so interested in! These cameras and accessories would be great for yourself (if you are photography junkie like me!) or even as a gift for your friends/loved ones. I’ll be starting small and perhaps bring in more stuff if there’s a demand.

In the meanwhile, enjoy the lovelies that I have below:

1) Recesky Twin Lens Reflex Camera (aka Gakken Flex Clone) [S$35]

Recesky TLR

This is a FULLY MANUAL (no batteries), 35mm film, self-winding of film, self-assembled Twin Lens Reflex Camera.
You will receive the camera in bits (literally), arm yourself with a screwdriver, follow the instructions given and assemble this retro-looking thing all by yourself! Feel the sense of accomplishment after. Printed on the box: “Assemble in 1hr” but I took 2-3hrs instead. The shutter spring portion was so frustrating! No extra screws/springs are given so don’t start assembling on a messy table.

Comes with Chinese instructions. But you shld be able to fix it up with the pictures or just view this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqcHZlULuRA
*Tip: quick search on google will help with the assembling.

A low-cost (good for our pockets!) clone from:
– Gakken Flex (also self assembled for SGD50+)
– BlackBird, Fly! (Full assembled for SGD180+)

Specifications:

• F value (aperture value): F6, F12
• Shutter speed: 1 / 125 sec
• Focal length adjustment range: 50cm to infinity
• Multiple exposures
• Dimensions: 28.5(L) x 21(W) x 4.5(H)cm

**Note: I will not be bubble-wrapping this camera as the parts comes in a sturdy styrofoam box, well-protected. However, postage might cause the edges of the cardboard box to be dented. Do not purchase if you are not able to accept this.

2) Miniature Holga Model [S$15]

Huge fan for lomography? Have the entire collection of Holga in your home? Then don’t miss out the baby of the family! Non-functional baby holga. Literally for SHOW ONLY.

But it’s so cute I had to bring this in for you guys! Fine details and wonderfully crafted.

It comes with a box (perfect, not-so-ex gift for a friend!), a keychain and a strap to hang.
Hang it as a necklace, use it as a keychain, place it on your office desk or just put it up for display!
**Note: This miniature is just a model. Unable to take photos.

3) Holga Multi-Color Flash [S$28]

Bored of taking photos only outdoors in good sunlight? Pop on this multi-color flash and experiment with different light shades with the flash on!
Compatible for 120N/GN/135/ 135BC/LC-A+/ Fisheye camera or any camera that has a standard hotshoe adapter.

Specifications:

• Uses 1 pc of AA Battery
• Colour temp: 5,600 deg K
• Recycle Time: 6-8 sec
• No. of flashes/replacement of battery: 180
• Flash Duration: 1/1000 sec

**Note: Regarding qns on fitting on a DSLR.
It does fit the standard hotshoe adaptor on a dslr. However, I believe the dslr uses a different technology for its flash. Thus it might NOT work for dslr. :)

4) Holga 135BC [S$75]

Brought in Holga 135BC, instead of Holga 120 (which uses a difficult-to-find 120film). I myself have Holga120N and the 120mm film it uses is so rare and expensive! Holga 135BC uses the commonly found film in photoshops (35mm films).

BC stands for black corners. So your photos would get awesome vignetting! Making them look super lomo-style and vintage-feel.
Quick search in flickr shows you the type of photos you would be shooting with this mean-thing.

5) Holga K205 meow meow [$70]

Introducing the Holga cat camera (meow meow~), it functions as a working 35mm film camera equipped with flash with the face of a cute CAT!

The unique feature of the camera is that emits flashing light and meowing sounds! Perfect for capturing the attention of cats (mainly what the creator is aiming to do). However, it’s great for shooting babies, children and even other animals like dogs or your little hamster. Rather than making funny sounds yourself, now the camera does it for you!

The camera I’m selling is very similar to the one in the video;
Except it comes in a cardboard box (not tin case), it’s orange in color (not white) and it can emit light and only one type of meowing~ (not that many varieties of sounds)

6) Recesky Stereo 3D Pinhole Camera [S$48]

Brother of the famous Recesky TLR camera, this is the Recesky self-assembled pinhole camera. Another toy camera-collectors item!
Again, this is a FULLY manual(no batteries), 35mm film, self-winding of film, self-assembled pinhole camera
The pinhole camera (has 3 pinholes) is able to shoot in 3 formats:
– 4:3 Regular frame
– 8:3 shoots 2 frame in one shot, gives a TRUE panoramic image
– 3D stereo photography, shoots 2 slightly similar photos in 2 frames, which can be viewed 3D with the 3D viewer (also in the package).
How awesome it is to shoot in so many formats in this tiny camera. Many formats to experiment with!

7) FishEye Lens for Holga135BC [S$55]

Add-on accessory for the Holga 135BC camera, the fish-eye lens.
Get that awesome distortion with the FE lens.
Only fits Holga 135BC camera, NOT suitable for Holga 120.

Do note that this is only the front lens. The effect will not be seen on the view-finder. Thus you would have to be patient and wait till the photos are develop to see what the photo would appear to be.
